• This heavy-duty pneumatic (compressed air) door closer from Ideal Security is suitable for heavy aluminum, steel or wood storm doors over 1-1/2" thick • The flat torsion bar on the closer will flex and come under pressure, helping to lock heavier doors • Door closing speed is adjustable via the air adjustment screw • Stainless aluminum cylinder • A quick-release washer is included for easy closing when used to hold the door open • To protect your door and closer from damage, we recommend the addition of a wind chain (SK14) • Easy to install, using existing holes in your door • If your door doesn't already have this type of closer, new holes may be required • The closer can be installed at the top, middle or bottom of your door, depending on its structure • Brackets and screws required for installation are included • Color: white
